Social & Emotional Learning
Social and emotional learning (SEL) is the process “through which all young people and adults acquire and apply the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to develop healthy identities, manage emotions and achieve personal and collective goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain supportive relationships, and make responsible and caring decisions.” Social and emotional skills are vital to advance students’ learning and development.(CASEL.org )

Multi-Tiered System of Supports(MTSS)
We adopt MTSS to ensure all students have equitable access to instruction and support that is differentiated to meet their unique needs in a nurturing environment so as to improve their academic, social and emotional development.
If you identify that your child needs additional support, please talk with your teacher. If needed, the teacher will refer the child to the MTSS team, which will decide collaborately on a way to better support your child. SEL Resources
