What is Reflections?
REFLECTIONS is a PTA sponsored participation-based program with a presence at the national, state, and local levels. Through Reflections, students are invited to express their artistic talents and share how they will change the world through choreography, production, literature, composition, photography, and visual arts. This program has helped students develop artistic literacy, increase their confidence, and develop a love for learning!
We encourages students of all ages to:
- Unleash creative talents and be inspired
- Express themselves imaginatively in their artwork
- Experience the fun and joy of making art
- Tap into critical thinking skills to create art inspired by the theme
- Receive positive recognition for their original works of art
What’s the theme for this year?
This year’s Reflections Art Contest theme is "TO BE DETERMINED" and we can’t wait to see what our trailblazers create.
What are the six arts categories?
Dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography and visual arts. Students may enter in one or more arts categories. See each Arts Category Rules for additional entry requirements.
How many grade divisions?
Students may enter in the appropriate division for their grade (Primary: Preschool-Grade 2; Intermediate: Grades 3-5; Accessible Artist)

ALL entries MUST follow the National PTA & CA PTA's General Eligibility Rules for Reflections!
